Aunty Social is the tongue-in-cheek moniker of singer and aspiring bedroom-pop artist Daniela Gitto. Having released her debut EP, The Day My Brain Broke back in March, we're taking a look at a refreshing new rework of 'Crack A Deal' by none other than songwriter, Warpaint member and bassist extraordinaire jennylee. Stripping way back, jennylee's interpretation of the accomplished tune is comparatively raw and moody. Set over emotive piano parts, prominent bass guitar, roomy drums provide a vital rhythmic backbone to the beautifully sleepy rendition. Giving insight to the process, jennylee said: “I had the pleasure of remixing an angel... I didn’t want to approach it as one would when asked... I wanted to bring the emotion out in the song, like a great songwriter, I feel she really left it open for interpretation.
